BarbSyncc ("we", "us", "our") is a SaaS platform that helps barbershops and salons automate customer retention through WhatsApp reminders, SMS, and email. Our registered business contact is support@barbsyncc.com.
We collect the following information: • Barber/salon owner: name, email address, shop details, location, payment information • End customers (via QR code review page): name, WhatsApp number, phone number, email address, haircut frequency preference, star rating, feedback • Usage data: pages visited, features used, login timestamps • Payment data: processed securely through Dodo Payments — we never store card details
We use the information collected to: • Provide and operate the BarbSyncc platform • Send automated WhatsApp, SMS, and email reminders to customers on behalf of barbers • Process subscription payments • Send account-related emails (signup confirmation, password reset) • Improve our platform and fix issues • Comply with legal obligations
When a customer scans a barber's QR code and submits their contact details, they are consenting to receive automated reminder messages from BarbSyncc on behalf of that barbershop or salon. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We use Meta's WhatsApp Business API and Twilio for SMS delivery.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: • Supabase (database hosting) • Resend (email delivery) • Twilio (SMS delivery) • Meta (WhatsApp Business API) • Dodo Payments (payment processing) All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted upon request. Customer contact data collected via QR codes is retained until the barber deletes it or their account is closed.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data • Withdraw consent for marketing messages • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@barbsyncc.com
We use essential cookies only to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage via Supabase, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
BarbSyncc operates globally and serves customers in the USA, UK, UAE, Australia, and Canada. Data may be processed in servers located outside your country. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all international data transfers.
BarbSyncc is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of BarbSyncc after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
